This was a request from an anon. Here is a Christmas story 🎄
As everyone went to bed, Adolf and I stayed awake. We waited until about three in the morning before everyone went to bed.
The Christmas tree stood several feet about him. It was decorated beautifully and the room looked utterly magical.
"You look stunning in this light," he said, placing an arm around my shoulder.
I smiled taking a sip of my wine, Christmas being one of the few times either of us drank anything alcoholic, “Thank you, Darling.”
He stood up, walking over to the decorated tree that towered over him. Pushing the presents for the Goebbels children out of the way, he pulled a small, silver box from the base of the tree.
"What’s this? It’s only Christmas Eva. We aren’t supposed to open anything until tomorrow," I said to him.
"Do you want to wait?" He asked. "I can make up wait."
"No," I said, pulling him to sit back next to me, "you insist that I open it. It is Christmas after all."
Adolf say next to me, kissing my head. His arm was back around my shoulders.
I struggled with the package while he chuckled as he watched me, “Do you need help?”
"Yes," I huffed, handing it to him.
Without the slightest struggle, he opened it and handed it to me, “See, that wasn’t so difficult.”
I blushed, taking the lid off of the box, “Thank you.”
He watched me as I pulled the bracelet out of the box, “Do you like it?”
"Of coarse I do!" I said, having him put it on my wrist. "It’s gorgeous!"
"I’m glad you like it," he said, pulling me close. "Now, where is my gift?"
I smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck. He pulled me close and kissed my face, then my lips.
I giggled while we kissed. When he pulled away for us to breath, I heard the sound of little feet pattering on the wooden floor. Looking over, I saw a very sleepy Hedda Goebbels. The three year old climbed onto the couch between us.
"Hedda, sweetie, what are you doing out of bed? It’s late," I said, looking down at her.
"I didn’t tell you or Uncle Hitler good night," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
Adi picked her up, sitting her on his lap and me closer to him, “If you do not go to bed, then you will not get any presents tomorrow.”
"Then why aren’t you and Aunt a eva sleeping?" She asked, giving us her trademarked mischievous look.
"Like you," he said, "I forgot to talk Aunt Eva goodnight."
"That must be why you were kissing her," she said, kissing my cheek before making kissing noises.
"Ok, little one," I said, taking her from Adolf’s arms, "it’s time for bed."
"Goodnight," Adolf said once we had placed her back in bed.
She kissed his cheek and then mine. We walked back into the sitting room, sitting back on the sofa together.
"I’m tired," I said, yawning and laying my head on his shoulder.
"Just fall asleep here," he said, kissing the too of my head. "I want to lay here for a while, but if you want to go to bed by yourself, go ahead."
“No,” I muttered, “I want to stay with you. It is Christmas.”
He let out a laugh, striking my hair as I drifted off, “I’ll wake you up when I’m ready for bed.”
"I love you," I whispered before falling totally asleep with my head on his shoulder.
